Ruth retires from the coffee shop

After 14 years of managing and volunteering at the coffee shop Ruth is finally leaving this Sunday. We wish her well in her retirement.

However it means we need volunteers urgently particularly on Sunday 9-1.45
Monday and Thursday 9 -1pm. The shop is doing excellent business since its relocation, thank you to all who have helped achieve this.

If you can help please contact

Archangel Michael Hospice Shop.

The Hospice ShopOur shop commonly known as ‘the coffee shop’ is now fully functional at it’s new site.
With grateful thanks to: Peter Morton at Peter Morton removals who moved the shop and Parish office for free Viva FM radio for telling people of the move. Fitzgerald Estates for all their support in making this happen. The money raised from the shop goes directly to the Hospice. We are glad to say that even in July and August the shop made a profit to send to the Hospice.

As the only operational Hospice in Paphos we stayed open all through the Lockdowns and our
constant vigilance meant no cases came into the Hospice. We are extremely busy receiving terminally ill patients not just with Cancer but also final stages of Alzheimer’s, Emphysema, Heart conditions, Kidney failure, Motor neuron and other terminal conditions. We also cared for 2 children and a young adult in their final stages. We serve all communities in Cyprus — Cypriot,
European, Russian, Expat, Sri Lanken and others, no matter their orientation, ability, colour, religion or not, or race.

So thank you to everyone for your support. The coffee shop is open for books, clothes, bric-a-
brac and also a great place to meet friends. So please come and visit us Mon-Fri 9-1 or Sunday
9-1.30pm, donations welcome. Look forward to seeing you.

Hospice Shop

Congratulations and a big thank you to all the volunteers at the Archangel Michael Hospice shop.
July was never going to be an easy month but it covered its expenses and gave a good sum to the Hospice, the purpose of the shop.

If you haven’t visited the shop at its new site you would be most welcome.
Open
Mon- Fri 9-1pm
Sun 9- 11.30

Volunteers still needed please.
Thank you and congratulations
